News & Updates6th April 2004 - New Panormas on Coe Fen & Sheep's GreenI had a quick walk at lunch time yesterday and, in between the rain/hail showers, managed to take 9 new panoramas along the river on Coe Fen and Sheep's Green, just off Fen Causeway. 4th April 2004 - 22 New panoramas22 new panoramas added... bringing the current total number of panoramas to... [drum roll...] 75. New shots are around the areas of Sidney Street, Bridge Street, St John's Street, Trinity Street, Trinity Lane and Garret Hostel Lane. 2nd April 2004 - New panoramasNew panoramas added around the centre of town (Market square, Petty Cury,
Sidney Street). Look out for some more this weekend... 8th August 2003 - New panoramasAdded new panormas along Trumpington Street and King's Parade. 3rd August 2003 - Site updateAlmost ready to start adding the new panoramas that I promised below! Just re-wrote the site to support the latest versions of the Netscape, Mozilla and Opera browsers. Also changed the site to use php and a database for storing the panorama data... makes it much easier for me to add panormas and maintain the site! 27th Jan 2003 - Wide angle panoramas updateOK, so "soon" didn't turn out to be very soon. A combination of being busy and finding it very difficult to stitch the wide angle shots, because of the distortion in the pictures. Anyway, the good news is that I think I've cracked it! The stitching quality is not quite as good as before, but there is now a much bigger field of view. 4th June 2002 - Wide angle panoramasI've recently bought a super wide angle lense for my camera. After experimenting with it and finding out how to stitch the wide angle pictures, I've just been out and about in Cambridge taking some more panoramas. Look out for them soon!... 5th April 2002 - New site designOK, so the site has only been up for a couple of days, but I decided to completely re-design the layout. I guess I was bored with the old one already! Also, it should now fit nicely on an 800x600 screen. 3rd April 2002- Feedback :)Wow! I have received some positive feedback already :) Only fault is that the pages are too wide for an 800x600 screen. Thanks guys. Now I just have to wait to get listed in the major search engines and directories, and then watch the hits clock up (maybe!). 2nd April 2002 - Site launch!seeCambridge.com web site went online!
